Internal Sales Representative

About the Role
As an Internal Sales Representative at LightSkye, you’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners and businesses exploring solar energy. Your role is to engage new leads, qualify opportunities, explain our solar and financing options, and schedule consultations for our field or virtual team. You’ll play a key role in driving our mission forward – helping more families and businesses adopt clean, affordable energy.
Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls, web form inquiries, and referral leads
Qualify prospects by asking the right questions and understanding their needs
Educate potential customers on solar solutions, financing, and next steps
Schedule consultations for sales and technical teams
Keep accurate records of calls, leads, and progress in CRM
Meet weekly goals for outreach, scheduled meetings, and conversions
Requirements
1+ year experience in inside sales, call center, or customer-facing role
Excellent communication and listening skills
Comfortable following scripts while also adapting to customer needs
Ability to work with CRM tools and manage multiple leads
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and collaborative team player
